I am currently interning at Graphiq Design where I do various development projects for clients to improve my skills as a front-end and back-end web developer.
I broadcast video game gameplay to a small audience of viewers during my free time. During the streams I am required to moderate the viewer chat room according to channel rules and have to make sure the streamed content is viewable on both desktop computers and mobile devices at a good quality. The reason for broadcasting is to provide a fun and relaxing location for people to talk to and watch someone play video games.
Helped another developer at the company develop website functionality and features. Two notable projects included buttons that changed a section of the websites background image, and a product filter that would dynamically update products based on what the customer selected.
Broadcasted and showcased the video game Crypt of the Necrodancer. The event was held to give recognition to various Indie video games. Each broadcaster was required to gather information and discuss their selected video game. Information gathered included reasons why the mechanics were developed the way they were and the reason why the developer made the game.
Helped faculty, staff, and students with hardware and software related issues; as well as, maintain school computer software and printers. In addition, I was in charge of the schools printing store which required me to print student and faculty assignments and projects.
